What causes right lateral adnexitis?

What causes right lateral adnexitis?

Right-sided adnexitis is often caused by infection, usually related to bacterial invasion of the reproductive system, and requires early medical attention and treatment.

The adnex is an important structure near the female uterus, including the fallopian tubes and ovaries. Inflammation refers to the infection phenomenon that occurs after these parts are invaded by pathogens. The occurrence of right adnexitis may involve a variety of causes: unclean sexual intercourse, menstrual hygiene problems, infection after pelvic surgery, and even the spread of inflammation in the urinary system or digestive system.

Unclean sex life may allow pathogens to enter the reproductive tract; using unclean sanitary napkins or improper cleaning methods during menstruation can also easily lead to the growth of bacteria. Traumatic behaviors such as pelvic surgery or artificial abortion may allow bacteria to invade. The right appendix is in a special position, adjacent to the cecum, and if there is appendicitis, it may also cause the spread of infection. Pathogens usually include microorganisms such as streptococci, Escherichia coli, and mycoplasma.

Pay attention to daily hygiene habits, avoid sitting for long periods of time, unclean sexual behavior, and develop a healthy lifestyle. If you experience symptoms such as right lower abdominal pain, fever, and abnormal secretions, you should go to the hospital for a gynecological examination in time and take medication under the guidance of a doctor. Regular physical examinations can also help prevent similar problems.
