How to treat chronic pelvic inflammatory disease?

Chronic pelvic inflammatory disease refers to chronic inflammation that occurs around the female genitals, connective tissue, and pelvic peritoneum. Chronic pelvic inflammatory disease often recurs, is very stubborn, and is difficult to cure. Most patients with chronic pelvic inflammatory disease have experienced acute pelvic inflammatory disease, and of course, some patients with chronic pelvic inflammatory disease develop the disease directly.

1. Antibiotic treatment

Most antibiotics have a poor therapeutic effect on chronic pelvic inflammatory disease, and it is difficult to cure it directly through drugs. Although there is no single antibiotic drug, the lesions of chronic pelvic inflammatory disease are relatively stubborn, and it is difficult for drugs to eradicate the lesions. However, antibiotics can effectively relieve the symptoms of acute attacks of chronic pelvic inflammatory disease. Antibiotic drug treatment can be regarded as an emergency measure for chronic pelvic inflammatory disease attacks.

2. General treatment

In fact, in most cases, the symptoms of chronic pelvic inflammatory disease are not as severe as those of acute pelvic inflammatory disease. When the symptoms of chronic pelvic inflammatory disease are not obvious, patients can consider general treatment. Without the use of drugs and surgical intervention or drugs only cooperation, patients can effectively suppress chronic pelvic inflammatory disease by adjusting their physical condition and improving the resistance of the immune system, and even achieve the effect of self-healing after a period of time.

3. Physical therapy

Patients who are undergoing physical therapy should first ensure that their abdomen and pelvic area are not exposed to cold. At the same time, they should keep the pelvic area warm or massage it to avoid blood and gas stagnation in the pelvic cavity, and combine it with relevant drug treatment. This can ensure smooth blood circulation in the affected area and improve the absorption and utilization of drugs.

There is no particularly effective treatment for chronic pelvic inflammatory disease, but a considerable number of patients have adjusted their physical condition and improved their immunity to prevent chronic pelvic inflammatory disease from worsening. With the combination of some medications, although the cycle is relatively long, it can still be cured and the probability of recurrence is not high.
