"When the spleen is fully supported by the stomach and the earth is in harmony, it will be able to receive and prosper, all limbs will be strong, the twelve spirits will perform their duties, the skin and fur will be firm and dense, the tendons and bones will be flexible, the nine orifices will be unobstructed, and external evil will not be able to insult it." This sentence means that the spleen and stomach are the foundation of the acquired constitution, the source of Qi and blood production. If the spleen and stomach are injured, Qi and blood will be insufficient, and the body's normal physiological activities cannot be maintained, and external evil cannot be resisted.

When talking about the spleen and stomach, we have to mention the saying "diseases come from the mouth". Modern people have poor eating habits. In the past, due to limited economic conditions, they often did not have enough to eat. However, now that the material standards have improved a lot, overeating has reappeared. For example, they have a strong taste and are fond of eating fatty, greasy, and spicy foods.

Although some women say they want to lose weight, they never control their diet. They keep eating heavy-tasting foods such as Sichuan hot pot, malatang, Western fast food, etc. Over time, their spleen and stomach cannot be burdened and they will show symptoms of weakness.
