Chicken + Pre-cooking: Grilled Chicken Breast

Grilled chicken breast, the most popular dish in weight loss recipes, can be easily made at home. It can be used as a side dish, salad, or snack for children. Let’s make grilled chicken breast that suits your taste! Chicken breast has relatively little moisture and is easy to dry out, so it must be sealed when stored. It is recommended to be consumed within 2 weeks. ※The following ingredients are based on 4 servings, and each dish is based on 2 servings

Ingredients: 4 chicken breasts (400g), 1/2 tablespoon salt, 1 teaspoon herb (choose from parsley, rosemary, or thyme), a little pepper and cooking oil.

Preparation method:

1. Cut the chicken breast in half from the side.

2. Marinate the chicken breast with salt, herbs and pepper.

3. Preheat the pan with stripes and apply cooking oil to it. Fry the chicken breast from step 2 on both sides over medium heat. Then turn to low heat to allow the inside to be evenly cooked. If you want to bake it in the oven, in order to prevent the meat from being too dry, you can apply olive oil on it before baking.

4. After the chicken breast has cooled, use vacuum bags or plastic wrap and plastic bags to pack into small portions. Wrap carefully and store in the freezer.

Applied cooking 01——Grilled chicken breast with chili sauce

The sweet and spicy sauce is very appetizing. It turns out that dry lean meat can taste so delicious. Sprinkling some almond slices can reduce the spiciness and increase the aroma. You can increase the amount of almond slices according to your personal preference!

★Grilled chicken breast with chili sauce

Ingredients: 4 frozen roasted chicken breasts (400g), 3 tablespoons of almond slices, 1 tablespoon of cooking oil.

Chili sauce: 1 1/2 tablespoons each of chili sauce and corn syrup, 1 tablespoon tomato ketchup, 2/3 tablespoon brewed soy sauce, 1/2 tablespoon rice wine, 1 teaspoon sesame oil, and a pinch of pepper.

Preparation method:

1. Thaw the frozen grilled chicken breast in advance.

2. Mix all the sauce ingredients to make chili sauce.

3. Evenly coat the thawed grilled chicken breast with chili sauce on the front and back and set aside.

4. Put the chicken breast with sauce into the oiled pan and fry slowly over low heat, turning it over from time to time to avoid burning. Since it is already cooked, just fry it to let the sauce absorb into it.

5. Finally, sprinkle with almond slices and it’s done.

Applied Recipe 02 - Chicken Burrito

This is a snack that kids love very much. It's also a great meal replacement if you stuff grilled chicken breast and sautéed veggies between tortillas. Restaurant-style dishes can be made at home simply by baking them in a frying pan!

Chicken Mexican Burrito

Ingredients: 2 frozen grilled chicken breasts (200g), 2 slices of Mexican tortillas, 1/2 green pepper, 1/3 onion, 3 mushrooms, 1/2 cup of baked shredded cheese, 3 tablespoons of commercial pizza sauce or tomato sauce, a little pepper and cooking oil.

Preparation method:

1. Take out the frozen grilled chicken breast and thaw it in advance, then cut it into cubes about 1 cm in size.

2.Wash the ingredients. Remove the stems and seeds of the green peppers, peel the onions, and cut them together with the mushrooms into pieces about the same size as the chicken breasts.

3. Pour cooking oil into the hot pan, add green peppers, onions, and mushrooms, sprinkle with pepper and stir-fry over medium heat.

4. When the onion starts to turn transparent, add the grilled chicken breast and pizza sauce, stir-fry evenly to make the filling and then take it out.

5. Place the filling from step 4 on the tortilla and spread it evenly, sprinkle with baked cheese shreds and cover with another tortilla.

6. After heating the dry frying pan, turn to low heat, put in the quesadilla from step 5, and lightly toast the front and back to let the cheese melt.

Applied Cuisine 03——Roasted Chicken Salad

Caesar dressing goes really well with chicken breast salad. Especially because of its rich taste and excellent flavor, even children who are resistant to salads can't stop eating it. It tastes great when eaten directly with commercially available salad dressing.

★ Grilled Chicken Salad

Ingredients: 2 frozen chicken breasts (200g), 50g each of salad lettuce or romaine lettuce, and appropriate amount of purple cabbage.

Caesar salad dressing: 2 anchovies, 5 tablespoons olive oil, 2 tablespoons mayonnaise and Parmesan cheese powder, 1 tablespoon sugar and lemon juice, 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce, 1/2 teaspoon minced garlic, and a pinch of pepper.

Preparation method:

1. Take out the frozen grilled chicken breast and thaw it in advance, then cut it into long strips about 1 cm wide.

2. Wash the salad lettuce and purple cabbage, cut into bite-sized pieces, soak in ice water, drain and arrange on a plate.

3. Put all the sauce ingredients into a blender and blend them together to make Caesar salad dressing.

4. Put the thawed grilled chicken breast in the hot dry pan and grill it slightly, then you can serve it on a plate and pour Caesar salad dressing on it before eating.
