According to a survey on changes in the nation's nutritional and health status, the current obesity prevalence rate in China leads the world, and the obesity rate among men is higher than that among women. The overweight and obesity rate among adults in my country dropped from 33.2% in 1993-1996 and 43.5% in 2005-2008 to 43.0% in 2013-2014, showing a stabilizing trend 10 years earlier.

1. Say no to sugar: Sugar, like alcohol, is addictive, and consuming sugar can induce many chronic diseases and accelerate the aging of the body. Reducing sugar starts with the details of life. Carry an environmentally friendly water bottle and avoid drinking sugary drinks. Refuse to accept sugary drinks with meals. Replace cakes and snacks with fruits and appropriate amounts of unflavored nuts and seeds.

2. "Pick" before eating: choose white meat, choose lean meat; choose vegetables, choose fruits; choose whole grains, choose nuts; choose natural, choose local. People are advised to be selective in their diet, choose natural ingredients and avoid processed products, choose cooking methods with less oil, and eat less than 80% full. In addition, they should consume an appropriate amount of unrefined whole grains, nuts, seeds and low-fat dairy products every day, and eat 5 servings of fruits and vegetables every day.

3. Move whenever you have the chance: The World Health Organization recommends that children and adolescents should accumulate at least 60 minutes of moderate-intensity physical activity every day, and adults should accumulate at least 150 minutes of moderate-intensity physical activity per week.
