  • Ingredients: 100g brown rice, 40g fresh loquat, 30g dried white fungus, and appropriate amount of rock sugar.

  • Preparation method:

    1. Wash the brown rice, soak it in cold water, pick it up and drain it.

    2. Rinse the fresh loquats, peel them, cut them in half, and remove the core.

    3. Soak the dried white fungus in warm water to swell, wash it and tear it into small pieces.

    4. Take a pot, add cold water, white fungus, and brown rice, bring to a boil over high heat, then simmer over low heat. When the porridge is almost done, add loquat and rock sugar, and continue cooking for 5 minutes.

  • Reminder: People who want to lose weight should try to reduce the use of rock sugar to avoid excessive intake, which will lead to body fat accumulation.

Relieve cough and reduce phlegm! Eat 5 loquats raw twice a day

"Compendium of Materia Medica" records that "loquat can moisten the five internal organs and nourish the heart and lungs". Take 10 fresh loquats a day, wash them and eat them raw twice, which can improve symptoms of cough, dry mouth and thirst. Wash and peel 50 grams of fresh loquats, add 50 grams of rock sugar, boil for half an hour and then take it, which can improve redness, swelling and pain in the throat.

However, it should be noted that patients with spleen deficiency, diarrhea and diabetes should avoid eating loquat; loquat should not be eaten with wheat as it can easily produce phlegm. Unripe loquats can easily cause diarrhea, so be careful when choosing them.
