Chinese medicine practitioner Wu Mingzhu pointed out that drinking water appropriately has a positive effect on skin health, and edema belongs to the category of "spleen and kidney deficiency" in traditional Chinese medicine. Traditional Chinese medicine believes that spleen deficiency and kidney weakness will lead to water retention, leading to edema. Treatment must use prescriptions that can strengthen the spleen and kidney and promote urination in order to be effective.

Traditional Chinese medicine follows the principle of "inducing sweating for swelling above the waist and promoting urination for swelling below the waist" when treating edema. 1. Lingshu and cinnamon drink

Ingredients: 2 qian of Poria cocos, 2 qian of Atractylodes macrocephala, and a little cinnamon powder.

Efficacy: Poria cocos and Atractylodes macrocephala help remove moisture from the body; cinnamon can act as a diuretic and eliminate excess water.

Note: Add cinnamon powder after Poria cocos and Atractylodes macrocephala are simmered. If you have frequent urination at night, do not drink after dinner.

2. Press Sanyinjiao acupoint
