The mother who gained 40 kg during pregnancy and breastfeeding controlled her diet to lose weight

Many pregnant women worry about giving birth to premature babies, so they eat whatever they want in the hope that their babies will gain enough weight. Unexpectedly, they end up gaining weight themselves! Ms. Yang Jinfang is a case in point. She gained 40 kg during both pregnancies. This time, she gained another 10 kg during the confinement period, so she made up her mind to lose weight. She took in calories according to her basal metabolic rate, breastfed and did aerobic dance for 30 minutes every day, and lost 3 kg per month. She has now lost 27 kg.

Ms. Yang Jinfang was invited by the National Health Bureau today on the 9th to share her experience in weight loss. She said that she originally weighed about 60 kilograms. When she was pregnant with twins for the first time, she ate a lot to take care of the fetuses. She gained nearly 40 kilograms at that time. Later, she lost some weight. As a result, when she was pregnant last year, she "followed the same procedures" and ate 7 or 8 meals a day. During the confinement period, she never had any dietary restrictions in order to increase the amount of milk. Her weight after giving birth was almost over 100 kilograms.

One day when she was sorting out her old photos, she was shocked to find that she had become a different person. She even felt that the fat on her body was disgusting. So she made up her mind to lose weight and referred to the "Get Active for a Healthy Life" manual provided by the health center. The nurse told her that the diet for weight loss should still be balanced and the total calorie intake per day should be controlled according to her personal basal metabolic rate. After calculation, she found out that she had to control her calorie intake to 1,500 calories per day.

In addition, she also does exercise. Ms. Yang Jinfang said that she does aerobic dance for 30 minutes every day, and continues to breastfeed. In particular, she found that the previous belief that eating more to increase milk supply was a myth. Moderate calories and continuous breastfeeding can provide enough milk, and her weight has gradually dropped.

Currently, Ms. Yang Jinfang has successfully lost 27 kg at a rate of 3 kg per month. She laughed and said that she is still 10 kg away from her goal, and that such healthy weight loss will not be too much of a burden, and she has the confidence to continue.
