  • (1) Take 1 qian of Panax notoginseng, 3 qian of Psoralea corylifolia, 3 qian of Senna leaves, 2 qian of Rhubarb, and 3 qian of Hawthorn. Decoction in water, one dose per day, 28 days as a course of treatment, rest for 7 days before taking the second course of treatment.

  • (ii) Take 8 qian of Polygonum multiflorum, 8 qian of Chinese Angelica sinensis, 6 qian of Millettia reticulata, 5 qian of Poria cocos, and 3 qian of Atractylodes macrocephala. Decoction in water and drink as tea, one dose per day. Take it for 28 days as a course of treatment. Rest for 7 days before taking the second course of treatment.

  • (III) Ear acupuncture for weight loss: The main acupoints are hunger, mouth, lungs and spleen. The acupoints used are endocrine and kidney points. Apply white mustard seeds or fenugreek granules on the above-mentioned acupoints and keep pressing for 2-3 minutes. Fix with adhesive tape and change it every 5 days. 5 times constitutes a course of treatment. Rest for 10 days and then have the second course of treatment.
