How often do menarches occur?

Is menarche common?

Generally speaking, the amount of menarche is not much. During puberty, under the influence of the hypothalamus and pituitary hormones, the ovaries produce sex hormones that can stimulate the development of sexual organs and breasts, and begin to grow axillary hair and pubic hair. At the same time, the egg cells in the ovarian follicles gradually mature, and the mature follicles rupture and expel the egg cells out of the ovaries. At this time, the fallopian tube umbrella absorbs the discharged eggs into the fallopian tube cavity. After ovulation, the remaining cells in the follicles grow and increase rapidly, and appear yellow, which is called "corpus luteum". It can secrete progesterone and promote the endometrial glands to secrete mucus containing nutrients to prepare for the reception of sperm and eggs. Generally, after 3 to 5 days, most of the endometrium falls off. Under the action of female hormones, another layer of endometrium grows and gradually thickens. At this time, the menstruation is over.

When a girl's menarche begins, she should keep warm, avoid abdominal colds, and avoid cold food. There is no need to worry about whether a girl's menarche is early or late, as it varies from person to person. Menarche can be early or late, and it is generally believed to have a lot to do with genetics. If the mother's menarche is early, the daughter will also be early; if the mother's menarche is late, the daughter may also be late. But this is not absolute, it will also be affected by other factors.

The early or late menarche is also related to living in cities or rural areas. The age of menarche in urban girls is earlier than that in rural girls. The reason is that it is generally believed that girls with high living standards and good nutritional health will not only grow faster, but also have an earlier menarche. Some people also believe that because the urban lifestyle increases the contact between the sexes, there are more opportunities to get in touch with sexual knowledge. The endocrine glands are regulated by the nervous system, and the sex-related endocrine system is activated too early, causing the menarche to be early.
