Severe adenomyosis

Severe adenomyosis

Adenomyosis is a common gynecological disease that is very harmful to women and must be actively prevented. However, many female friends still ask: Is adenomyosis serious?

The incidence of adenomyosis is increasing year by year. As for the reason, the caesarean section rate has an increasing trend, which also leads to an increase in the incidence of adenomyosis. Adenomyosis should be detected and treated early to avoid missing the best treatment period. If adenomyosis is not treated in time, it will cause the following harms:

1. Dysmenorrhea is accompanied by progressive aggravation, menstrual abnormalities, infertility, sexual intercourse pain, pelvic pain, low fever, increased leucorrhea, menstrual pain and other uncomfortable symptoms. The cause of dysmenorrhea may be that the ectopic endometrium increases the local pressure outside the lesion with ovarian bleeding, stimulating the spasm and contraction of the surrounding smooth muscle tissue, causing pain.

2. Gynecological examination often finds that the uterus is enlarged, which enlarges during or before and after menstruation and then gradually becomes smaller. However, it does not exceed 3 months of pregnancy. If it exceeds 3 months, it usually indicates complications.

3. As for the cause of menorrhagia, although from a traditional perspective, the increase in uterine volume and the increase in endometrial area can increase the chance of bleeding, clinical observation of the uterus is usually smaller than 3 months of pregnancy.

4. Adenomyosis can also cause infertility. In recent years, with the widespread use of intrauterine surgery technology, some young women have also developed the disease. Among older women, women of childbearing age can also cause infertility.

After understanding the dangers of adenomyosis, women must always pay attention to changes in their bodies. If there are any abnormalities, they must go to the hospital for diagnosis and treatment in time to avoid serious consequences.
