What are the clinical symptoms of pelvic endometriosis?

Pelvic endometriosis is a type of endometriosis, which means that the endometrium is not in the uterine cavity, but is located in the pelvic cavity. The true cause of pelvic endometriosis is still unclear. There are two theories: retrograde implantation and tissue metaplasia. Due to the different locations of endometriosis, the clinical manifestations vary. In the early stage, there are usually no symptoms and it is usually discovered due to dysmenorrhea and infertility. When it occurs, it should be treated in time.

1. Inability to get pregnant: The inability to get pregnant rate in patients with endometriosis is as high as 40%, which is more than twice as high as that of normal women.

2. Dysmenorrhea: The pain is mostly in the lower abdomen, sometimes in the vagina, perineum, anus, and thighs. The pain starts and lasts 1 to 2 days before menstruation, and is most severe on the first day of menstruation. The pain is relieved and disappears after the menstruation is over.

3. Irregular menstruation: Sometimes the menstrual flow increases or the menstrual period is prolonged, and there is also spotting before menstruation.

4. Bladder symptoms: It is common in patients with endometriosis that spreads to the bladder, with symptoms of periodic frequent urination and painful urination; when the bladder mucosa is invaded, periodic hematuria may occur.

Endometriosis should pay attention to the following:

1. Avoid all cold foods, such as snails, clams, crabs, and turtles, which are cold foods and should be eaten less.

2. The diet should be light. Thick and greasy food can easily cause blood stasis.

3. Eat more fruits and dried fruits.

4. If you have been diagnosed with endometriosis and your ovarian chocolate cyst is larger than 7 cm, you must keep your emotions stable and avoid overwork during menstruation or mid-menstruation. Once the tension in the cyst cavity suddenly increases, the cyst wall will rupture, causing acute abdomen.
