What tests are needed for vulvar leukoplakia? The following tests are used to diagnose vulvar leukoplakia: 1. Electronic colposcopy: This method of vulvar leukoplakia examination uses an electronic colposcopy to magnify and observe cervical lesions, which is obviously much easier than naked eye observation to find cervical leukoplakia. Based on local diagnosis, vulvar leukoplakia iodine test and colposcopy, diagnosis is generally not difficult. But more importantly, after the discovery of leukoplakia, further examination should be carried out to avoid missing early cervical cancer that coexists with leukoplakia. 2. Auxiliary examination: multi-point biopsy pathological examination to determine the nature of the lesion and eliminate early cancer. There are usually two ways to check vulvar leukoplakia: one is routine gynecological examination. The other is laboratory examination of vaginal secretions. 3. Vulvar biopsy: It is one of the main means to ensure accurate and reliable examination results, and the results can usually be reported within 20 minutes. 4. Leucorrhea examination: The examination items include: pH value, cleanliness, amine test and other 6 items. The different physical conditions of patients will affect the accuracy of the examination. If you have these conditions, you should avoid vulvar leukoplakia examination. Vulvar purulent infection and menstruation are prohibited from examination. 5. Iodine test: The principle of this method of vulvar leukoplakia examination is that epithelial keratinization or incomplete keratinization lacks the ability to store glycogen, and the iodine coating does not stain the local area, thus revealing the scope of the lesion. However, the iodine test is non-specific, such as cervical erosion, ectropion or precancerous lesions. 6. Local diagnosis: By carefully observing the cervix, white spots can be found, but incomplete keratotic lesions cannot be distinguished by the naked eye. This is also one of the examination methods for vulvar leukoplakia. |
