What are the nursing issues for adenomyosis?

1. Adenomyosis refers to the benign infiltration of the endometrium into the myometrium and diffuse growth therein. It is characterized by the appearance of ectopic endometrium and glands in the myometrium, accompanied by hypertrophy and proliferation of the surrounding myometrial cells. Therefore, it is called intrauterine endometriosis, while endometriosis in the pelvic cavity is called extrauterine endometriosis. Many scholars believe that the two are not the same disease, but the similarity is that both are regulated by ovarian hormones.

2. Its main clinical symptoms are secondary progressive dysmenorrhea and menstrual disorders. Common nursing problems: Pain: Causes: ectopic endometrial bleeding during menstruation, inflammatory stimulation Clinical manifestations: Lower abdominal and lumbosacral pain begins 1-2 days before menstruation, progressively aggravated, mental tension, painful expression.

3. Nursing measures: Avoid eating sour, cold, spicy and other irritating foods during menstruation. Keep the perineum clean and wash it with warm water 1-2 times a day. Use relaxation techniques, such as listening to music, reading, and participating in cultural and recreational activities to divert and distract attention. When the waist and abdomen are severely sore, massage the waist and abdomen to increase comfort. Take a hot water bath before menstruation, apply hot compress to the lower abdomen twice a day, and drink hot drinks to relieve pain. When the pain is severe, give sedatives as prescribed by the doctor.

4. Anxiety: Causes: infertility, fear of surgery. Worry about the prognosis of the disease. Clinical manifestations: depression, distress, mental tension, anxiety, insomnia. Nursing measures: avoid talking about family, children, and marital relationships in front of the patient to avoid increasing the patient's mental pressure.
