What causes hydatidiform mole?

What causes hydatidiform mole?

Hydatidiform mole is generally believed to be caused by malnutrition, age factors, environmental factors, drug factors, chromosomal abnormalities, etc.

1. Malnutrition:

If pregnant women usually have irregular diets and are often picky eaters, which leads to a lack of sufficient protein, vitamins and fats in the body, it will cause abnormal proliferation of placental villous trophoblasts, leading to hydatidiform mole. In daily life, we should pay attention to a balanced diet and nutrition to prevent the occurrence of diseases.

2. Age factor:

If the pregnancy age is over 35 years old or under 20 years old, the embryonic tissue or uterine environment may be poor, affecting the growth and development of the embryo and leading to hydatidiform mole. It is recommended that women give birth before the age of 35.

3. Environmental factors:

If you are in a polluted or radiated environment for a long time, it will cause sperm deformity in men and egg abnormality in women, thus inducing hydatidiform mole. Staying away from polluted or radiated environments can reduce the incidence of the disease.

4. Drug factors:

If contraceptives are taken for a long time, the drug factors may cause abnormal embryo development and lead to the formation of hydatidiform mole, which needs to be prevented by rational use of drugs or reducing the use of contraceptives.

5. Chromosomal abnormalities:

If there are chromosomal abnormalities in the fertilized egg and embryo in the body, the embryo will not be able to develop normally, and then a cystic nodule lacking internal organs will be formed, also known as a hydatidiform mole, which requires a doctor's surgery to perform a uterine curettage.

In daily life, we should develop good work and rest habits. If we feel unwell, we should seek medical attention in time to avoid delaying the treatment.
