At present, many patients with submucosal uterine fibroids suffer from infertility due to this, which is relatively harmful. The increased incidence of infertility in women caused by this symptom has also attracted the attention of many women. So, what are the hazards of this disease? 1. Pain. When submucosal fibroids expand toward the cervix, they are prone to infection. If not controlled in time, they will retrograde into the abdominal cavity, developing from endometritis to adnexitis and pelvic inflammatory disease, causing dull abdominal pain, abdominal discomfort, and pain in both adnexal areas. A small number of submucosal fibroids can stimulate the endometrium and cause uterine contractions due to their fall, resulting in paroxysmal uterine contraction-like pain. 2. Uterine bleeding. Submucosal fibroids with pedicles are most likely to cause uterine bleeding, which can be cyclical or irregular. The bleeding time is irregular, which can be long or short, from a few days to more than ten days or even dozens of days. The amount of bleeding is also irregular, sometimes it is spot bleeding, and sometimes it is a large amount of blood clots. The bleeding is mostly bright red. When such patients seek medical treatment, bleeding is often the main symptom. At this time, if the fibroid is small, it is difficult to distinguish it through B-ultrasound examination. Only vaginal color Doppler ultrasound can distinguish it clearly. 3. Leucorrhea has an unpleasant odor. Because of the capsule covering the uterus, the blood circulation in the uterus is relatively poor, and the tissues around the fibroids are prone to infection and necrosis. At this time, a large amount of exudate is produced, which appears as bloody or purulent leucorrhea with a fishy odor. This kind of leucorrhea, no matter how much or how little, indicates the presence of infection. |
