A huge benign ovarian cyst fills the entire abdominal cavity, increases intra-abdominal pressure, affects venous return in the lower limbs, and causes edema of the abdominal wall and both lower limbs. A malignant ovarian cyst fixed in the pelvic cavity compresses the iliac vein, often causing edema on one side of the lower limb.
