What are the symptoms and causes of ovarian cyst rupture?

What are the symptoms of a ruptured ovarian cyst? What causes it?

After the cyst ruptures, small ruptures can heal quickly on their own and form adhesions with surrounding tissues; if the rupture is large, it cannot heal on its own, and its thick chocolate-like cystic fluid can flow into the abdominal cavity. This chocolate-like fluid is extremely irritating and can irritate the surrounding peritoneum, causing severe abdominal pain. If not treated in time, it may also lead to diffuse peritonitis, resulting in fatal consequences.

According to traditional Chinese medicine, the main factors causing ovarian cysts are as follows.

1. Stagnation of Qi and Blood:

If you catch cold during pregnancy or after childbirth, the cold will cause blood stagnation. Or if you have internal injuries, depression will damage the liver, and the Qi will not run smoothly, and the Qi and blood will stagnate, and the Qi and blood will stagnate. If the stasis lasts for a long time, it will turn into cancer. In addition to the lump in the lower abdomen, there are generally no obvious symptoms or only petechiae on the tongue. If it is malignant, the lump in the lower abdomen is hard and fixed, painful and resistant to pressure, the skin is dry and purple, and the tongue has petechiae. Patients in the late stage of malignancy may have ascites, emaciated body, fatigue and other symptoms.

2 Phlegm and blood stasis, worry and sadness, phlegm due to deficiency, phlegm and fluid accumulation block the Qi, causing Qi stagnation and blood stasis, phlegm and fluid and blood stasis

The long-term accumulation of phlegm and blood stasis can also lead to cancer. In addition to the above symptoms of qi and blood stagnation, patients often have fullness and stuffiness in the stomach, palpitations, shortness of breath, poor appetite, edema, nausea, muscle stiffness, increased abdominal circumference, menstrual disorders, difficulty urinating, urgent or difficult bowel movements, distension in the lower abdomen or pits, and a feeling of falling.
