Is adenomyosis a cause of infertility?

The endometrium grows on the uterine muscle wall, which directly leads to a bad internal environment of the uterus, thus affecting conception. So, is adenomyosis infertility?

Some patients with adenomyosis will not be able to get pregnant, but some may experience miscarriage and premature birth after pregnancy. Fortunately, young women rarely have severe adenomyosis. If it is mild adenomyosis, patients can still get pregnant.

A common symptom of adenomyosis is infertility, and 20% of patients have moderate or above lesions. In addition, many female friends will also experience acute abdominal pain. Ovarian endometriosis cysts often cause bleeding in the cyst during menstruation, and because they are immediately adhered to the surrounding tissues after rupture, they only cause transient lower abdominal or pelvic deep pain.

Many patients also have other symptoms, such as periodic pain, bleeding or obvious enlargement of the menstrual mass, which shrinks after menstruation, abdominal pain, diarrhea or constipation, and even periodic small amounts of blood in the stool. Patients with the above symptoms should go to the hospital for medical treatment in time!

Among the hazards of adenomyosis, infertility is a common one, but not all patients will suffer from infertility. Moreover, patients who have already suffered from infertility can still get pregnant normally if they receive timely and proper treatment, so don't be anxious after you get the disease, and you need to receive timely treatment.
