This type of woman with irregular menstruation should be treated with blood and qi supplementation. 3. Women with irregular menstruation are of the blood cold type. Symptoms of this type of irregular menstruation include delayed menstruation, dark color and less menstruation, cold pain in the lower abdomen, which is relieved by heat, or fear of cold and cold limbs, pale complexion, and thin white tongue coating. Treatment should be to warm the meridians and dispel the cold. 4. It belongs to the Qi stagnation type. The symptoms include delayed menstruation, scanty and dark-colored menstruation with clots, bloating and severe pain in the lower abdomen, bloating and pain in the chest and breasts, and a dark tongue. The treatment for this type of women with irregular menstruation should be to regulate Qi and activate blood circulation. 5. Menstrual disorders in women are caused by liver depression transforming into heat. Symptoms include irregular menstruation, delayed menstruation, distension and pain in the chest, flanks, breasts and lower abdomen, chest tightness, irritability or sighing, belching and loss of appetite, red or purple menstrual blood, red edges and tip of the tongue, bitter taste in the mouth and dry throat, and a thin yellow tongue coating. |
