What should I do if I have a lot of leucorrhea before my period?

A large amount of leucorrhea discharge before menstruation may be caused by pregnancy, vaginitis, cervicitis, etc., which can usually be treated with local medications, oral medications, etc.

1. Pregnancy: Early pregnancy will increase the estrogen in the body and increase the amount of vaginal discharge, but menstruation is often ignored. Symptoms such as delayed menstruation, nausea, vomiting, etc. can be checked by using an early pregnancy test strip, or by going to the hospital for a blood test or B-ultrasound examination to determine whether you are pregnant. An increase in vaginal discharge during early pregnancy is a normal physiological phenomenon and generally does not require special treatment.

2. Vaginitis: Vaginitis may be caused by not paying attention to personal hygiene, poor sexual intercourse, etc. After the onset of the disease, inflammation will irritate the vaginal mucosa, leading to increased vaginal discharge, causing symptoms such as itching and burning. Drugs such as miconazole nitrate suppositories, clotrimazole suppositories, and metronidazole gel can be used for treatment according to the doctor's advice.

3. Cervicitis: Cervicitis is related to menstruation, too many sexual partners and other reasons. The inflammation invades the surface of the cervix, causing congestion, redness and swelling of the cervical mucosa, abnormal leucorrhea, abdominal pain, and menstrual symptoms. It can be treated with drugs such as azithromycin dispersible tablets, metronidazole tablets, and tinidazole tablets under the guidance of a doctor.

In addition to the above reasons, it may also be due to reasons such as endometritis. Generally, avoid eating spicy foods such as peppers and garlic, pay attention to proper rest, maintain a good mood, and help the body recover.
