Ectopic pregnancy will cause abdominal pain a few days earlier

The time of abdominal pain in ectopic pregnancy varies from person to person. Usually, abdominal pain may occur around 6-8 weeks of pregnancy, but some patients may experience it earlier or later.

If the ectopic pregnancy sac implants in the isthmus of the fallopian tube, due to the narrow lumen of the tube, the growth of the gestational sac is restricted, and abdominal pain may occur in the 4th to 6th week of pregnancy. The abdominal pain of ectopic pregnancy is often manifested as dull pain or soreness in one side of the lower abdomen. When miscarriage or rupture occurs, there will be a sudden tearing pain in the lower abdomen on one side, often accompanied by nausea and vomiting.

For example, some patients experienced mild pain in one side of the lower abdomen about 5 weeks after menstruation. They did not take it seriously at first, but later the pain intensified and was accompanied by vaginal bleeding. They went to the doctor for examination and found that it was an ectopic pregnancy. Abdominal pain may also be caused by other reasons, such as normal pregnancy reactions, gastrointestinal problems, etc.

If you suspect an ectopic pregnancy, it is recommended to go to the hospital for examination and treatment in time. The doctor may confirm the ectopic pregnancy through blood tests, ultrasound examinations, etc., and formulate a corresponding treatment plan based on the specific situation.
