1. Western medicine treatment

(2) Drug treatment: Acute cervicitis can be treated with oral broad-spectrum antibiotics, such as cephalosporin antibiotics plus metronidazole.

2. Traditional Chinese Medicine Treatment

(1) Damp-heat descending: Leucorrhea of ​​large amount, yellow in color or with streaks of blood, thick like pus, foul smell, burning pain and swelling in the vagina, short and yellow urine, red tongue with yellow and greasy coating, and slippery and rapid pulse.

Treatment method: Clear away heat, promote dampness and stop leukorrhea.

Prescription: 15 grams each of Poria cocos, Smilax glabra, red peony root, moutan bark, and Patrinia jasminoides, 10 grams each of Gardenia jasminoides, Alisma orientalis, Plantago seed (package), and Cyathula officinalis, and 6 grams of raw licorice.

Chinese patent medicine: anti-endometritis tablets.

(2) Deficiency of both the spleen and kidney: excessive vaginal discharge that is white and thin with a fishy odor, soreness of the waist and knees, poor appetite and loose stools, lower abdominal pain, frequent urination, pale tongue with a white and slippery coating, and a deep and slow pulse.

3. External treatment:

(1) Cervical dressing method

① 15g each of dandelion, plantain, fleabane, phellodendron, 10g each of coptis root, scutellaria baicalensis, raw licorice, 0.4g of borneol, 1g of catechu. Grind into fine powder and apply to the affected part of the cervix once every other day. Applicable to acute cervicitis

(2) Vaginal lavage: 15g each of wild chrysanthemum, atractylodes, sophora flavescens, wormwood leaf, and cnidium monnieri, 10g each of radix stemonae and phellodendron amurense.
