How to treat cervical erosion?

Cervical erosion clinically refers to cervical columnar epithelial ectopia. A little cervical columnar epithelial ectopia can be cured through general treatment, drug treatment, laser treatment, etc.

1. General treatment: Cervical column epithelial ectopia is usually caused by excessive estrogen in the body, which will cause the cervical column epithelium to move to the exit of the cervical canal. It is a normal physiological phenomenon with no obvious clinical symptoms and does not require special treatment. It requires cleaning, good personal hygiene habits, and frequent changes of underwear.

2. Drug treatment: However, when patients do not pay attention to personal hygiene, it is easy to cause cervical infection or irritation. Symptoms of cervicitis may occur, such as abnormal leucorrhea, lower abdominal pain, contact bleeding, etc. Under the guidance of a doctor, drugs such as doxycycline hydrochloride tablets, azithromycin dispersible tablets, and clarithromycin hydrochloride tablets can be used for treatment.

3. Laser treatment: If the patient has recurrent or drug treatment is ineffective, laser treatment can be selected. It is a high-temperature treatment that will carbonize and scab the cervical inflammation or diseased tissue. After the scab falls off, the wound is covered with new squamous epithelium to achieve the purpose of repair treatment.

In addition to the above treatments, there are also other treatments such as cryotherapy, electrocoagulation therapy, microwave therapy, etc. In daily life, we should pay attention to sexual health and have regular physical examinations. At the same time, we should pay attention to menstrual hygiene, reduce the number of sexual partners, and eliminate bad sexual behavior.
