1. Infection route: Vulvovaginal candidiasis is an endogenous infection. A small number of patients are infected by sexual infection or indirectly by contact with contaminated clothing. Most people with Trichomonas vaginitis are infected through sexual intercourse.

2. Type of infection pathogen: Vulvovaginal candidiasis is caused by Candida infection, and Trichomonas vaginitis is caused by Trichomonas infection.

3. Characteristics and color of leucorrhea: Leucorrhea of vulvovaginal candidiasis is usually white and thick, like tofu dregs or yogurt leucorrhea, with vulvar itching, burning, pain, and leucorrhea usually without odor. Leucorrhea of trichomoniasis vaginitis is gray and foamy, or yellow-green.

4. Treatment methods: Vulvovaginal candidiasis is mainly treated with antifungal drugs, which can be taken orally or with topical vaginal drugs. Fluconazole can be used for oral drugs, and clotrimazole vaginal tablets or nystatin suppositories can be used for vaginal drugs.

Trichomonas vaginitis is treated with nitroimidazole antibiotics, which can be taken orally with metronidazole, and local improvement with vaginal metronidazole suppositories. Sexual partners also need to be treated at the same time.
