How to determine whether there is an ectopic pregnancy?

Ectopic pregnancy refers to ectopic pregnancy, which can generally be diagnosed through clinical symptoms, blood tests, B-ultrasound examinations, etc. Once diagnosed, standardized treatment is required under the guidance of a doctor.

1. Clinical symptoms: Ectopic pregnancy generally refers to the implantation and development of the fertilized egg outside the uterine cavity. It is a more common acute abdomen in obstetrics and gynecology. It may be inflammation, damage or dysfunction of the fallopian tube. The main symptoms of the patient are menopause, abdominal pain and vaginal bleeding. If the above symptoms occur, it may be an ectopic pregnancy.

2. Blood test: Blood test is one of the laboratory tests for ectopic pregnancy. It mainly checks the human chorionic gonadotropin in the blood, which is more important for the early diagnosis of ectopic pregnancy. Generally speaking, when a patient has an ectopic pregnancy, the level of human chorionic gonadotropin in the body is lower than that of an intrauterine pregnancy.

3. B-ultrasound examination: B-ultrasound examination is helpful in diagnosing ectopic pregnancy. If no gestational sac is found in the uterine cavity through B-ultrasound examination, but a gestational sac or fetal heart beat is seen outside the uterine cavity such as the fallopian tube and ovary, it can be diagnosed as ectopic pregnancy.

In addition to the common judgment methods mentioned above, it can also be judged through gynecological examination. When suffering from ectopic pregnancy, it is recommended that patients receive timely treatment and undergo conservative surgery and salpingectomy under the guidance of a doctor.
