The difference between ovulation pain and pelvic inflammatory pain

The difference between ovulation pain and pelvic inflammatory pain:

The time of onset, nature of pain, and accompanying symptoms of ovulation abdominal pain and pelvic inflammatory disease abdominal pain are different.

Ovulation abdominal pain is usually caused by physiological reasons, usually occurring during and around the ovulation period. Abdominal pain is mainly related to hormonal changes, usually mild abdominal pain, paroxysmal, pain disappears within 1 to 2 days, and may be accompanied by increased vaginal discharge, breast pain and other discomforts. Generally, no special treatment is required, and continuous observation is required.

Pelvic inflammatory disease is abdominal pain caused by pathological reasons, which can occur at any stage of the menstrual cycle. Because pelvic congestion is easily irritated, the pain is obvious and lasts for a long time, often accompanied by systemic symptoms such as fever, dizziness, fatigue, and may have symptoms such as lower abdominal swelling and lumbar pain. Laboratory tests show an increase in the number of white blood cells. Patients can usually be given intravenous antibiotics under the guidance of a doctor, such as cefotaxime sodium, clindamycin hydrochloride capsules, metronidazole tablets and other drugs.

If the abdominal pain symptoms persist or gradually worsen, it is recommended to go to a medical institution in time, complete relevant examinations, identify the cause, and choose an appropriate treatment plan under the guidance of a professional doctor to avoid adverse consequences.
