What are the symptoms of female cervical erosion? Introduction to the treatment of female cervical erosion

Common cervical diseases include cervical erosion, a gynecological disease. Female compatriots should understand this disease so that they can find out whether they have the disease in time and receive timely treatment.

Causes of cervical erosion:

Cervical erosion is not an independent disease, but a manifestation of chronic cervicitis, which is caused by human papillomavirus infection. The causes of the disease include mechanical stimulation or injury, such as sexual intercourse, abortion and childbirth lacerations and bacterial invasion, which can cause cervicitis; pathogen invasion, commonly common pyogenic bacteria such as Staphylococcus, Streptococcus, Gonorrhea, Mycobacterium tuberculosis, viruses, actinomycetes, Trichomonas, and Ameba can all cause cervicitis.

Symptoms:

1. Simple erosion is often seen in the early stage of inflammation. The erosion surface is covered by a single layer of columnar epithelium, and the epidermis is relatively flat and smooth.

2. Granular erosion: The inflammation continues to exist, causing excessive proliferation of the cervical epithelium, and the erosion surface is uneven and granular in appearance.

3. Papillary erosion: The glandular epithelium and stroma proliferate significantly, the unevenness is more obvious, and it is papillary-shaped.

How to treat cervical erosion:

There are generally three types of cervical erosion: mild, moderate, and severe. If a woman is of childbearing age and has mild cervical erosion and no symptoms, she does not need to be treated. There are some physiological factors that cause erosion. If it is moderate to severe erosion, it must be confirmed in a regular hospital. Except for cervical cancer, some physical treatments can be performed. Microwave, laser, freezing, and radiofrequency ablation are more commonly used. These treatments are more effective. Generally, one treatment may be good, and two treatments may be enough.

1. Drug treatment: Suitable for patients with small erosion area and shallow inflammatory infiltration. Antibiotics can be used for local application, such as metronidazole, sulfonamides, furazolidone, etc. Traditional Chinese medicine is widely used in the treatment of cervical erosion in clinical practice, and the effect is also good. Some prescriptions and formulas are often selected, processed into powder or suppository, placed on cotton balls, and applied to the eroded surface.

2. Physical therapy: It is a widely used treatment method with the advantages of short treatment course and good efficacy. It is suitable for patients with large erosion area and deep inflammatory infiltration. Commonly used methods include electric ironing, laser therapy, and cryotherapy.

3. Traditional surgical treatment: If the above treatments are ineffective, or if there is cervical hypertrophy, or the erosion is deep and wide, and involves the cervical canal, traditional surgical treatments such as total hysterectomy can be considered. However, surgical treatment is rarely used now.

4. High-frequency LEEP technique: The tissue specimen is intact and is not prone to the phenomenon of tissue elongation and carbonization that occurs during traditional electric knife cutting. Intact tissue specimens can be obtained that do not affect pathological examination.

5. BBT ablation: BBT ablation is a very delicate surgery for the treatment of cervical erosion. It not only does not damage the surrounding tissues, but also is painless during the treatment and leaves no scars after the operation. It can also better avoid complications such as bleeding or infection, and has the advantage of not affecting reproductive function after the operation.

Female friends should especially pay attention to the symptoms of cervical erosion, pay timely attention to the development of the disease, change the treatment plan in time according to the condition, and prevent the disease from becoming more and more serious.
