What are the diagnostic methods for female cervical erosion? Female cervical erosion can be diagnosed by 6 methods

Women are unaware of cervical erosion, and many women know little about this disease. So what are the diagnostic methods for women with cervical erosion?

1. Gynecological examination. Focus on checking the size, shape, texture, thickness of the cervix, and whether there is contact bleeding. Then check the condition of the vulva, vagina, uterus, and paracervical tissues (ovaries, fallopian tubes, pelvic lymph nodes, etc.).

2. Cervical smear cytology examination is a routine gynecological examination. It is simple, easy, cost-effective, and the most important auxiliary examination and the preferred initial screening method for cancer prevention surveys.

3. Colposcopy can quickly detect lesions that are invisible to the naked eye. Taking biopsies from suspicious areas during colposcopy can significantly improve the accuracy of biopsies.

4. Iodine test and naked eye observation are very simple and cheap, and can detect at least 2/3 of the lesions. At present, the World Health Organization (WHO) recommends the use of naked eye observation in developing countries. As a preliminary screening method for cervical cancer, 3%-5% acetic acid solution is used to smear the cervix, observe the reaction of the cervical epithelium to acetic acid, and then take a biopsy from the white lesion area.

5. Pathological examination of cervical biopsy tissue is the basis for confirming cervical cancer.

6. Gynecological examination: Acute inflammation can show cervical congestion and edema, or erosion, with purulent secretions discharged from the cervical canal, and there may be pain when touching the cervix. Chronic cervicitis can show different degrees of cervical erosion, hypertrophy, polyps, glandular cysts, and eversion, or purulent secretions at the cervical opening, and the cervix is hard on palpation. If it is cervical erosion or polyps, there may be contact bleeding. Cervical smear shows Pap grade II. For those with severe conditions, cervical biopsy can be performed to confirm the diagnosis. Cervical erosion or polyps are difficult to distinguish from early cervical cancer. The latter has harder, brittle, and easy to bleed. It is necessary to rely on cervical smears to find cancer cells. If necessary, colposcopy and cervical tissue biopsy are performed for differentiation. Microscopic examination of cervical mucus> 10 neutrophils and white c/high-power field of view Diagnosis key----Identify the pathogen gonococcus Detection method: ① smear staining method, ② culture method, ③ PCR method, ④ enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay

Generally speaking, cervical erosion can cause inflammation in the female lower body. Under normal circumstances, inflammation in women will cause local edema, so after this happens, you should go to the hospital for a detailed examination as soon as possible.
