The nightmare of abortion for more than 6 million young girls in my country every year

In the last century, "sex" was like a scourge to the Chinese, and it was something that they never talked about. But now, sex has become an open topic of conversation. Not only do many universities have condom vending machines, but hotels, daily rental houses, and hourly rooms around schools have also become a part of the landscape around universities. A survey shows that nearly 50% of Chinese college students believe that they can have sex before marriage, and a statistical report from the National Population and Family Planning Commission shows that China has as many as 20 million artificial abortions each year, ranking first in the world.

Xu Zhenlei, director of the Youth Sexual Health Education Committee of the Chinese Society of Sexology, said that sexual behavior in middle school is very similar to that in college, and there are no preventive measures. In November this year, a survey in Guangdong Province showed that 48% of college students agreed that lovers can have premarital sex, and a sample survey of college students' sexual attitudes conducted by several universities in South China showed that nearly 40% of college students did not mind whether their partners had sex or not. According to the survey data released by the National Population and Family Planning Commission, more than half of the women who have artificial abortions in China every year are women under the age of 25, so about 6 million young women become the "main force" of abortions every year.
