Uterine fibroids are one of the most common tumors in women. 20% to 30% of adult women in my country suffer from uterine fibroids. The disease is more common in women aged 30 to 50, but the disease is currently showing a trend of becoming younger. Clinical studies have found that uterine fibroids are a type of tumor that relies on estrogen for growth. The trend of younger incidence is closely related to living environment and lifestyle: First, some women blindly pursue weight loss and whitening in pursuit of fashion. Many women pursue fashion and like to take some slimming, health care, and cosmetics for long-term whitening and weight loss. They like to use their homemade beauty products in beauty salons. But experts point out that these women obviously don’t know that these products contain estrogen. Some homemade products in beauty salons are not only not beautiful, but also harmful! According to a random inspection by the city’s quality supervision department, when the quality supervision department conducted random inspections on the homemade beauty products of some beauty salons, it was found that about 60% of the inspected products had excessive hormones or hormone-like ingredients. These excessive whitening, slimming drugs, and women’s health products that contain too much estrogen or estrogen-like substances can cause endocrine disorders in women, causing hormone imbalances in the bodies of some women who already have relatively high estrogen levels, leading to uterine fibroids or breast hyperplasia, while women in menopause are more likely to develop endometrial cancer and breast cancer. Second, some women blindly pursue a Western lifestyle, such as liking to eat some "junk food", coupled with environmental factors, resulting in the consumption of highly hormone-contaminated food, which is also an important reason for the high incidence of uterine fibroids. Third, with the change of living environment and lifestyle, most women have precocious puberty (early menstruation) and delayed menopause. This situation can easily lead to high estrogen levels, which in turn stimulates the uterus, which is an important reason for the high incidence of uterine fibroids. Estrogen and other female hormones in the female body are generally able to maintain the normal physiological needs of women, and because young women have relatively high estrogen levels, to prevent the occurrence of uterine fibroids, we must first change the lifestyle of blindly pursuing fashion and use whitening, weight loss, and cosmetics with caution. As the estrogen level of menopausal women begins to decline, they can take health care products in moderation under the guidance of a doctor. Secondly, we must strengthen our awareness of self-care and go to the hospital for regular gynecological examinations. Gynecological tumors are easy to be found in the early stages. If you find one or two symptoms such as menstrual changes, increased leucorrhea, pain in the lower abdomen or waist, a hard and uneven mass in the lower abdomen, and a sense of pressure in the bladder, you must go to the hospital for diagnosis and treatment in time. If you are diagnosed with uterine fibroids, you must take methods such as uterine fibroid radiofrequency ablation to remove the fibroids to avoid delaying the disease. |
