Do women need to treat cervical erosion? It is recommended to use these methods to treat cervical erosion

When explaining this problem, first of all, we must understand that cervical erosion is not necessarily the result of unhygienic conditions. It is caused by estrogen, which will disappear with age. Therefore, as long as there are no other symptoms, cervical erosion does not require treatment.

The term cervical erosion is no longer used as a medical diagnosis. Whether the cervix is smooth or eroded, it depends on whether there is cervical disease - cervical precancerous lesions, also called CIN. If not, no treatment is needed. If CIN is present, treatment should be given. A smooth cervix does not rule out the possibility of cervical CIN or even cancer. Therefore, cervical cancer should be screened regularly. If there is a problem with the cell smear screening, further diagnosis and treatment should be carried out. It is not simply to see whether it is eroded by the naked eye. The so-called erosion seen by the naked eye is actually a common phenomenon in women of childbearing age, where cells in the cervical canal move to the cervical canal.

Cervical erosion can easily be confused with cervical cancer, so whenever symptoms of cervical erosion appear, a cytological examination must be done. If the test results are true and not precancerous, there is no need to worry.

Another situation we often encounter is that although the cervical cells show normal, there is bleeding after each intercourse, and the leucorrhea increases. It also needs certain treatment, usually local medication, and then physical therapy, including laser, freezing and microwave. These three physical treatments all have a shedding process, that is, the fluid needs to be discharged, that is, there is more water in the vagina, which usually takes two weeks. So during this process, do not have sex, do not swim, and be careful not to get infected. In addition, women should not do this treatment repeatedly throughout their lives. Once is enough, and this method cannot be relied on. In fact, any disease is still based on prevention, and prevention is very important.

Therefore, mild cervical erosion does not require treatment. Even if you have some of the above-mentioned symptoms of bleeding and increased vaginal discharge, you can get pregnant as long as other diseases are ruled out. Secondly, many people use LEEp knife surgery to treat cervical erosion, which is completely unnecessary. LEEp knife is suitable for cervical precancerous lesions. If used improperly, it will make women prone to miscarriage.

Generally speaking, there are no obvious symptoms in the early stages of cervical erosion. As the disease progresses, patients with severe cervical erosion will experience increased vaginal discharge, pus, odor, etc., as well as bloody leucorrhea, frequent urination, urgency, and pain. If the disease is not cured for a long time, it can also lead to infertility and may even develop into cervical cancer, which is life-threatening.
