Is it reliable to take medicine to treat cervical erosion? Two ways of treating cervical erosion with traditional Chinese medicine

Many diseases cannot be completely cured by taking medicine alone, and often require physical therapy in combination to be completely cured. Cervical erosion is a common cervical disease in women, so can cervical erosion be cured by taking medicine?

Does cervical erosion need to be treated with medicine?

Cervical erosion generally has three conditions: mild, moderate and severe. If a woman is of childbearing age and has mild cervical erosion without any symptoms, she does not need treatment. There are some physiological factors that cause erosion. If it is moderate to severe erosion, she must be diagnosed in a regular hospital. Except for cervical cancer, she can do some physical therapy. Microwave, laser freezing and radiofrequency ablation are more commonly used now. These treatments are more effective. Generally, one treatment may be enough, or two treatments at most.

Drug treatment is suitable for patients with small erosion surface, shallow inflammatory infiltration or limited conditions. 25% silver nitrate chromic acid and other local corrosion are used locally. The vagina should be irrigated before medication, and then wiped dry with dry cotton balls, and the normal vaginal mucosa should be protected with cotton balls. Drug treatment is mainly suitable for non-pregnant patients with mild to moderate cervical erosion, but drug treatment generally takes a long time and costs more.

It should be noted that any drug cannot be used for a long time: especially the long-term use of drugs in the vaginal environment is prone to candidal vaginitis, that is, dysbacteriosis, so it is not suitable to use drugs for a long time if there is severe cervical erosion, and long-term use of drugs will not be good for severe cervical erosion, so after eliminating the immediate inflammation, physical therapy will be better. Sexual intercourse and bathing are prohibited after taking the medicine.

2. TCM treatment of cervical erosion:

1. Chinese medicine prescription for treating female cervical erosion: 9 grams of May frost, 6 grams of wheat bran grass, 5 grams of astragalus, and an appropriate amount of sheep tan. Take it in decoction. This prescription can also be used to treat trichomonas vaginitis.

2. Prescription for Chinese medicine treatment of female cervical erosion: Use 10 grams of Yunnan Baiyao. Use glycerin to make an ointment, apply the ointment on a cotton ball with a thread, and insert it into the vagina of a female patient with cervical erosion, close to the cervical erosion of the patient. After 12 hours, pull the cotton ball out and rinse the vagina before applying the medicine. Female patients with cervical erosion generally need to apply the medicine once every three days, and five times is a course of treatment. It is also recommended that female patients with cervical erosion should avoid sexual intercourse during the medication period.
