What should I do if I have uterine fibroids? What are the causes of uterine fibroids?

There are many types of uterine fibroids, and different types of uterine fibroids have different causes and different clinical treatment methods. So, what are the causes of uterine fibroids?

Uterine fibroids make women talk about gynecological diseases. There are two ways to treat uterine fibroids: one is the treatment of uterine fibroids with drugs, mainly hormone drugs. Drug treatment is easy to relapse after stopping the drug, and more than 6 months may produce perimenopausal syndrome, osteoporosis, fever, sweating, insomnia, irritability, irritability and other symptoms, or palpitations, high blood pressure, vaginal dryness, low libido, frequent urination, loose teeth, back pain, and obvious memory decline.

The main causes of uterine fibroids are as follows:

1. Factors that increase the risk of uterine fibroids include: estrogen, young menarche, nulliparity, late childbearing, obesity, African Americans, moxifen, etc. Factors that reduce the risk of uterine fibroids include: exercise, multiple births, menopause, oral contraceptives, etc.

2. Modern medicine believes that uterine fibroids are a hormone-dependent tumor. Uterine fibroids are more common during childbearing years, rare before puberty, and shrink or disappear after menopause. Studies have shown that estrogen and progesterone synergistically promote the growth of fibroids. The mechanism may be that estrogen in the follicular phase increases estrogen receptors on uterine smooth muscle, and then progesterone promotes the mitosis of fibroids in the luteal phase, thereby stimulating the growth of fibroids.

3.25-50% of uterine fibroids have cytogenetic abnormalities, including exchange of chromosome 12 and chromosome 17 segments, chromosome 12 rearrangement, and chromosome 7 deletion.
