What does the ectopic pregnancy test stick show? Check with B-ultrasound

We all know that after pregnancy, the pregnancy test paper will show two bars. Ectopic pregnancy is no exception. The pregnancy test result will also show two bars. The best way to diagnose ectopic pregnancy is through B-ultrasound examination; ectopic pregnancy can only be seen through routine B-ultrasound examination. Ordinary pregnancy tests or other pregnancy test tools cannot accurately determine whether it is an ectopic pregnancy.

Ectopic pregnancy is a relatively common disease in clinical practice, which mainly refers to the failure of male sperm to implant normally in the female uterus. In this case, doctors will advise patients to terminate the pregnancy in time, because ectopic pregnancy will threaten life and health after developing to a certain stage. So what are the results of ectopic pregnancy detection using a pregnancy test stick?
In the case of ectopic pregnancy, because the embryo implantation site is thin, the embryo cannot extract enough nutrients for its own development, so the embryo does not develop very well, so the secretion of human chorionic gonadotropin (HCG) is also less. When checking HCG, the rise rate is slower and progesterone is also lower. But in any case, ectopic pregnancy is also pregnancy, HCG will rise, and the pregnancy test paper will still be positive, but it will appear later and the color will be lighter.
Although pregnancy test sticks can effectively detect whether a woman is pregnant, they cannot detect whether the pregnancy is intrauterine or ectopic. Therefore, if a woman has irregular vaginal bleeding or irregular vaginal pain after pregnancy, she should go to the hospital to check whether it is an ectopic pregnancy. Care should be taken to prevent this from happening and avoid unclean sexual intercourse as much as possible.
In the case of ectopic pregnancy, there is no way to use a pregnancy test stick to get the test results. Although the accuracy of the pregnancy test stick is particularly high, it cannot detect whether it is a healthy pregnancy. Therefore, after pregnancy, if you want to know whether you are healthy and have a normal pregnancy, the most effective and simple way is to go to the hospital for a gynecological examination.
Pregnancy consists of multiple links. No matter which part goes wrong, it will lead to abnormal pregnancy or spontaneous abortion, embryo arrest or abnormal embryo implantation. Under normal circumstances, the embryo should be implanted in the endometrium. If it is implanted outside the uterus, it is an ectopic pregnancy.
Whether it is a pregnancy test stick or a blood test for chorionic gonadotropin and progesterone, it can only be said that there is a suspicion of ectopic pregnancy. To determine whether it is an ectopic pregnancy, a color Doppler ultrasound examination is required to confirm it. If there is no obvious abdominal pain and vaginal miscarriage, a color Doppler ultrasound examination can be performed 40 days after menopause to see whether the embryo has implanted, so as to determine whether it is an ectopic pregnancy.
