There are many ways to clinically examine ectopic pregnancy, among which B-ultrasound examination is the most accurate and reliable method to confirm ectopic pregnancy.
B-ultrasound examination can clearly see the location, size, and shape of the gestational sac, as well as the embryo and fetal heart rate. It can determine whether it is a single-fetal pregnancy or a multiple-fetal pregnancy, understand whether it is a normal intrauterine pregnancy, and rule out the possibility of an abnormal pregnancy. 1. Progesterone measurement: The serum P level of ectopic pregnancy is low, but it is relatively stable at 5-10 weeks of pregnancy, and a single measurement has a greater diagnostic value. Although there is overlap between normal and abnormal pregnancy serum P levels, it is difficult to determine the absolute critical value between them, but serum P levels below 10ng/m1 (radioimmunoassay) often indicate abnormal pregnancy, and its accuracy rate is about 90%.
