What are the symptoms of uterine septate? What should I do if I have uterine septate?

Uterine septum is caused by obstruction of the fusion of the two accessory mesonephric ducts during congenital development. The incidence of uterine septum and bicornuate uterus is 5%. Uterine septum changes the symmetry of the uterine cavity and may interfere with normal reproductive function, easily causing primary infertility or refractory infertility.

Uterine septate is the most common uterine malformation and is associated with poor pregnancy outcomes.

1. Excessive leucorrhea secretion

If a female friend suffers from uterine septum, she will have a lot of purulent and bloody leucorrhea. Some female friends' leucorrhea is like rotten meat and has an infectious odor.

2. Irregular menstruation

If a woman has a relatively large uterine septum, her menstrual volume will increase significantly, her menstrual period will be prolonged, and she will also experience irregular vaginal bleeding.

3. Secondary anemia

If female friends have heavy menstruation for a long time, it is easy to cause secondary anemia. Generally, such patients have pale complexion, palpitations, general weakness and other symptoms.

4. Infertility

If a female friend suffers from complete uterine septate, it will cause a certain amount of compression on the fallopian tube, causing the fallopian tube to twist or the uterine cavity to deform, which will hinder the implantation of the fertilized egg and cause infertility. Infertility is one of the most obvious symptoms of uterine septate.

What to do if you have uterine septate?

At present, this disease is mainly treated by surgery. The main surgery is hysteroscopic separation surgery, which avoids the disadvantage of more bleeding in traditional surgery. It uses special technology, so the bleeding after the operation is relatively small, the trauma will be very small, the recovery time is extremely short, and no adhesion will be formed. It can protect the uterus to the greatest extent, and the reproductive function will not be affected in any way. Most people can get pregnant naturally after the operation.
