What causes changes in bilateral PCOS?

First of all, family genetic factors, which is also one of the causes of polycystic ovary, genetic factors are an important factor in the onset of polycystic ovary.

Secondly, some obese patients with hyperinsulinemia may show hyperinsulinemia and insulin resistance. There are many reasons for insulin resistance, most of which are caused by the disorder of the information transmission system after the insulin receptor.

Third, the influence of drugs and diseases. Excessive mental stress, taking stimulant drugs and some diseases affect the abnormal regulation of the hypothalamus, pituitary gland and ovarian axis, causing the follicular membrane cells to produce too much androgen, resulting in a series of symptoms such as amenorrhea, hirsutism and polycystic ovary syndrome.

Fourth, adrenal dysfunction. 50% of patients have adrenal cortex dysfunction, which is often due to hyperfunction of the adrenal cortex leading to excessive secretion of androgen, ovulation and other symptoms. Diseases that cause adrenal cortex dysfunction are mainly caused by adrenal cortex tumors and adrenal cortex hyperplasia.
