What are the dangers of artificial abortion?

In recent years, the probability of artificial abortion has been increasing year by year. Nowadays, girls do not pay attention to their health before getting married, make friends with bad people, and do not take protective measures, which leads to accidental pregnancy. In the end, they can only have artificial abortion, but they don’t know that this is the most harmful to the body. So what are the hazards of artificial abortion?

The first is adhesion of the cervix and uterine cavity. The most direct harm of artificial abortion surgery is to the female birth canal. Improper surgery can cause cervical adhesion blockage or uterine cavity adhesion shrinkage, resulting in postoperative amenorrhea or a significant decrease in menstrual volume, sometimes accompanied by periodic lower abdominal pain or uterine enlargement and blood accumulation.

The second is inflammation and blockage of the fallopian tube. When the patient suffers from cervicitis or the operation is not properly disinfected, bacteria will be brought into the uterine cavity, which will cause fallopian tube inflammation and blockage of the fallopian tube, leading to infertility. If the patient is weak after the operation and is infected with pathogenic bacteria within two weeks, endometritis and pelvic inflammatory disease are likely to occur. If the acute stage is not treated promptly and thoroughly, it can turn into chronic inflammation and can also lead to infertility.

The third is breast disease. Once a woman becomes pregnant, subtle changes will occur in various systems in her body, and breast cells will begin to develop. When pregnancy is suddenly interrupted, the breast cells that have just begun to develop will atrophy. If they are not cared for in time, the breasts will not fully recover, which will cause breast diseases.

The fourth is ectopic pregnancy. Abortion can lead to scarring and stenosis of the fallopian tubes. When the fertilized egg moves toward the uterus, it will be blocked and stop at these parts, causing tubal pregnancy (also the most common type of ectopic pregnancy), and finally causing fallopian tube rupture or massive intra-abdominal bleeding, which can be life-threatening in severe cases.

In addition, if the operation is performed improperly or due to the patient's personal constitution, it can easily cause uterine bleeding, uterine perforation, postoperative menstrual irregularities, endometriosis, increased rates of prenatal and postpartum bleeding in subsequent pregnancies, high rates of late miscarriage and premature birth, high perinatal mortality, and increased neonatal hemolytic disease.

Therefore, female friends should still protect their bodies to avoid accidental pregnancy. Abortion is very harmful to the body.
