Overview of basic knowledge about threatened abortion

Every pregnant mother knows that the first three months of pregnancy are very important, and daily life behavior and diet cannot be taken lightly. However, some pregnant women have strong early pregnancy reactions and extreme nutritional deficiencies, which have a great impact on the development of the embryo and may even accidentally cause threatened miscarriage. Below I will give an overview of the basic knowledge about threatened miscarriage.

Threatened abortion refers to any symptoms such as abdominal pain, vaginal bleeding, cervical dilation, etc. that occur within 28 weeks of pregnancy. Early threatened abortion occurs within 12 weeks of pregnancy, and later is called late threatened abortion. Traditional Chinese medicine calls threatened abortion fetal leakage, and if the fetus is restless and develops, there may be a risk of miscarriage or miscarriage.

Threatened abortion refers to the manifestation of abortion, but after the treatment of pregnancy preservation, the pregnancy may not continue to full term. It often occurs in the early pregnancy, with early medication reaction, a small amount of vaginal bleeding, less bleeding than menstrual volume, accompanied by mild intermittent uterine contractions. Gynecological examination shows that the uterus is not dilated, the amniotic sac is not ruptured, the size of the uterus is consistent with the month of menopause, and the pregnancy test is positive. It is generally seen in luteal insufficiency and increased uterine sensitivity. If the amount of vaginal bleeding increases or the pain in the lower abdomen intensifies, it may develop into inevitable miscarriage. The uterus is more sensitive in the first three months of pregnancy, and sometimes there is slight lower abdominal pain, but this is not a threatened abortion. In this case, you should pay attention to rest and go to the hospital in time to see a doctor for diagnosis and treatment to preserve the fetus.

About half of patients with threatened abortion will have miscarriage, and due to excessive bleeding, infection may occur, and even sepsis and death may occur. Therefore, if you have symptoms of threatened abortion, you must go to the hospital for examination in time.

It is easy to have miscarriage after threatened miscarriage. Don't wait until the symptoms become serious before seeking medical treatment. Only by taking proper measures to protect the fetus and avoiding the possibility of threatened miscarriage can the healthy growth of the child in the mother's body be guaranteed.
