What are the symptoms of endometrial tuberculosis?

The symptoms of endometrial tuberculosis are not single, and the individual differences of patients are relatively large, mainly determined by the patient's site of onset, but there are also the most common symptoms, such as dysmenorrhea, and menorrhagia are very typical symptoms. In addition, about half of endometrial tuberculosis will have infertility. The following is an introduction to the symptoms of endometrial tuberculosis:

1. Dysmenorrhea: Patients complain that they did not have pain during menstruation in the past, but began to experience dysmenorrhea at a certain period. It can occur before, during, and after menstruation.

2. Causes irregular menstruation: In endometrial tuberculosis, the menstrual volume often increases, and the menstrual period is prolonged, which may be caused by the increase of endometrium, but it is often accompanied by ovarian dysfunction.

3. Infertility: Patients with endometrial tuberculosis are often accompanied by infertility. Pelvic endometrial tuberculosis can often cause adhesions around the fallopian tubes, affecting the collection of oocytes or causing blockage of the lumen, affecting the normal ovulation and causing infertility.

4. Pain during sexual intercourse: Endometrial tuberculosis occurs in the rectouterine fossa and vaginal rectal septum, causing swelling of the surrounding tissues and affecting sexual life, and the discomfort during sexual intercourse becomes more severe before menstruation.

The symptoms of endometrial tuberculosis are relatively obvious, especially dysmenorrhea, which is the most common. Patients with long-term dysmenorrhea that cannot be relieved should be highly vigilant about endometrial tuberculosis. As the incidence of endometrial tuberculosis has gradually increased in recent years, prevention is the key, but timely treatment cannot be ignored.
