Will pregnant women with endometrial tuberculosis recover on their own after delivery?

Every pregnant woman has great expectations for the child she is about to have, but experts point out that endometrial tuberculosis will deprive women of this right. After the onset of endometrial tuberculosis, the woman's uterus can no longer function normally, and fertility problems will arise. The following is a detailed introduction to the mechanism of infertility.

1. The fertilized egg is not implanted stably, which makes miscarriage very likely, thus causing infertility.

2. It is difficult for the fertilized egg to implant in the tuberculous endometrium, or anti-endometrial antibodies may cause implantation disorders, resulting in infertility.

3. After the sperm enters the uterine cavity, tuberculosis factors such as bacterial toxins and leukocyte phagocytosis cause the sperm to die or reduce its activity, greatly reducing the number of sperm entering the fallopian tube, thus affecting fertility.

Symptoms of endometrial tuberculosis include mild fever, lower abdominal pain, and increased vaginal discharge. Sometimes the vaginal discharge is bloody, and if it is caused by anaerobic bacteria, the discharge is foul-smelling. Some people have irregular menstruation. If the tuberculosis is severe, it can spread to the myometrium. It becomes myometrial tuberculosis, and many small abscesses form in it. If the tuberculosis spreads outward, it can cause pelvic tuberculosis. During examination, the uterus may be tender and enlarged, and the tissues on both sides may be tender and thickened.

In endometrial tuberculosis, local tuberculosis cell infiltration and exudation of tuberculosis media show embryotoxic effects. Tuberculosis cells not only kill and phagocytose sperm, but also show embryotoxic effects on fertilized eggs, which is not conducive to the implantation of fertilized eggs, placental implantation and embryonic development. Tuberculosis involving the fallopian tubes can cause obstructive infertility. In addition to causing infertility, the greatest harm of viral endometrial tuberculosis after infection during pregnancy is vertical infection of the fetus through the placenta, causing malformations, miscarriage, premature birth, premature rupture of membranes, neonatal infection and future growth and development disorders.

There are many patients with endometrial tuberculosis who do not understand what is going on after contracting the disease and therefore become at a loss. In fact, female friends do not need to worry too much. As long as they follow the doctor's advice and receive treatment, endometrial tuberculosis will not affect pregnancy.
