What are the symptoms of endometrial tuberculosis?

Endometrial tuberculosis is a disease that women are very likely to suffer from. However, the occurrence of this disease is caused by many factors. Simply put, the condition of this disease is that the endometrium moves around in the uterus. In severe cases, it can lead to infertility. Therefore, women who suffer from this disease must seek timely treatment and do not delay treatment. Let's take a look at it below.

1. Infertility: Endometrial tuberculosis patients are often accompanied by infertility. The causal relationship between infertility and endometrial tuberculosis is still controversial. Pelvic endometrial tuberculosis can often cause adhesions around the fallopian tubes, affecting the collection of oocytes or causing tube lumen blockage. Or ovarian lesions affect the normal ovulation and endocrine disorders, causing infertility. However, some people believe that long-term infertility and no menstrual cessation period can cause the chance of endometrial tuberculosis, and once pregnant, the tuberculous endometrium is suppressed and atrophies.

2. Excessive menstruation: In endometrial tuberculosis, the menstrual volume often increases and the menstrual period is prolonged. This may be caused by the increase of endometrium, but it is often accompanied by ovarian dysfunction.

3. Dysmenorrhea: In the past, there was no pain during menstruation, but dysmenorrhea began to occur at a certain period. It can occur before, during and after menstruation. Some dysmenorrhea is severe and unbearable, and bed rest or medication is required for pain relief. The pain often worsens with the menstrual cycle. Due to the continuous rise in estrogen levels, the tuberculous endometrium proliferates and swells. If it is affected by progesterone, it will bleed and stimulate local tissues, causing pain. If it is endometrial tuberculosis in the myometrium, it can also cause uterine muscle contraction, and dysmenorrhea is bound to be more obvious, which is clinically called adenomyosis.

4. Pain during sexual intercourse: Endometrial tuberculosis occurs in the rectouterine fossa and vaginal rectal septum, causing swelling of the surrounding tissues and affecting sexual life, and the discomfort during sexual intercourse becomes more severe before menstruation.

For female friends, the health of the uterus has a very important impact on women. Whether it is healthy or not is not only related to whether their future children can grow up healthily, but also to their normal life. Therefore, female friends should pay attention to endometrial tuberculosis and increase their vigilance against the disease.
