How to check for cervical warts

2. Virus wart antibody test: HPV is difficult to detect using traditional virus culture and serological techniques. The main experimental diagnostic technique is nucleic acid hybridization. The PCR method developed in recent years has the advantages of specificity, sensitivity, simplicity and rapidity, opening up a new way for HPV detection.

3. Pathological examination: Pathological examination is a highly accurate method in the examination of cervical warts. It starts with the symptoms of cervical warts and determines whether it is cervical warts through examination. Pathological examination mainly shows parakeratosis, hypertrophy of the spinous layer, papilloma-like hyperplasia, thickening and extension of the epidermal protrusions, and the degree of hyperplasia may be similar to pseudoepithelioma.

4. Immunohistological examination: The peroxidase anti-peroxidase method (PAP) is commonly used to show the viral protein in the warts to prove that there are viral antigens in the wart lesions. When the HPV protein is positive, a weak positive reaction of light red may appear in the superficial epithelial cells of cervical warts.
