How much does it cost to treat Bartholinitis?

We usually cannot feel Bartholinitis, and it can only be confirmed when we go to the hospital for examination. Therefore, female friends must go to the hospital for regular examinations for the sake of their health. The cost of examining Bartholinitis cannot be generalized. It is related to factors such as the choice of hospital. Therefore, we should not focus on the cost of the disease, but should pay more attention to the effect.

Bartholinitis refers to the phenomenon that women experience amenorrhea, atrophy of the Bartholin glands, low estrogen levels in the body, and gonadotropin levels that reach menopausal levels before the age of 40 after puberty. If women of childbearing age suffer from this disease, it may cause infertility. If you want to cure Bartholinitis as soon as possible, you must do the corresponding examinations. Only by checking the cause can you treat it symptomatically. The following examination methods are generally used for Bartholinitis:

1. Basic examination: mainly to check whether the basal body temperature is elevated. Gynecological examination can also reveal symptoms such as thin vaginal mucosa, few wrinkles, congestion and uterine atrophy. Mainly to see if there is any problem with your Bartholin's glands.

2. B-ultrasound: If the Bartholin's glands are small and no follicles are seen, it is Bartholinitis; if the Bartholin's glands are normal size and multiple small follicles are seen, it is unresponsive Bartholin's gland syndrome.

3. Laboratory examination: Laboratory examination mainly includes: endocrine hormone measurement, vaginal exfoliated cells, laparoscopy or laparotomy of Bartholin's gland biopsy, B-ultrasound, etc.

4. Vaginal exfoliated cells: show low estrogen levels, with the presence of bottom-layer cells or mainly low-layer cells.

5. Laparoscopic examination or laparotomy of the Bartholin's gland biopsy: In patients with Bartholinitis, the Bartholin's glands are small and atrophic, with unclear follicles, no primordial follicles under the microscope, and fibrosis of the Bartholin's gland stroma. Anti-Bartholin's gland antibodies can be found in the Bartholin's glands. In patients with unreactive Bartholin's gland syndrome, the Bartholin's glands are of normal size, with multiple small follicles visible both with the naked eye and under the microscope. Anti-theca cell, anti-granulosa cell, and anti-FSH antibodies can be found in the Bartholin's gland tissue.

Bartholinitis is a more serious Bartholin's gland disease, which not only affects the sexual life of female friends, but also causes female infertility. Therefore, we must conduct timely examination and treatment. Regarding the examination cost of Bartholin's glanditis, we can go to the hospital to consult a doctor. We must not aggravate the disease due to our own negligence.
