Is there a complete cure for Bartholinitis?

In daily life, people with Bartholinitis need to take good care of themselves, such as keeping their genitals clean and hygienic, and reducing the number of sexual intercourse as much as possible to avoid bacterial infection and aggravate their condition. Of course, if we want to completely get rid of the troubles of Bartholinitis, we still need treatment. So what are the treatments for Bartholinitis? Let me introduce them to you!

1. Drug treatment:

1. Use systemic antibiotics. Before obtaining culture results, broad-spectrum antibiotics can be selected.

2. If it has not yet become suppurative, take medicine to promote the gradual improvement and absorption of symptoms. If there are systemic symptoms, fever, and elevated white blood cells, intravenous antibiotics are often used, such as penicillin 800,000 U intramuscular injection, twice a day. Cephalosporins can also be used:

3. The first-generation cephalosporins have a stronger antibacterial effect against Gram-positive cocci, the second-generation cephalosporins have a broad antibacterial spectrum and an enhanced effect against Gram-negative bacteria, the third-generation cephalosporins have a better antibacterial spectrum than the second generation, and some drugs are effective against anaerobic bacteria.

4. In addition, you can choose to use local hot compresses or sitz baths with Chinese medicines that clear heat and detoxify, such as dandelion, viola yedoensis, honeysuckle, forsythia, etc.

2. Surgical treatment:

1. If an abscess is formed, drainage and ostomy should be performed immediately.

2. Simple incision and drainage can only temporarily relieve symptoms. After the incision is closed, cysts may still form or repeated infections may occur.

3. Perform abscess incision and drainage, and make sure the incision is large enough to prevent poor drainage of pus, which may lead to fistula formation or repeated abscess attacks.

3. Diet therapy:

1. Purslane and Angelica Porridge: Wrap 10g of Angelica with clean gauze, put it into the pot with 30g of Purslane, add 60g of rice and appropriate amount of water, boil until done, remove the medicine bag and eat porridge. 1 time/day, take for 3-5 days/course of treatment. Function: clearing away heat and detoxifying, promoting blood circulation and reducing inflammation. Indications: Bartholinitis; symptoms include obvious swelling and pain.

2. Gleditsia sinensis frankincense wine: Crush 1 Gleditsia sinensis thorn (choose a large one) into more than 10 pieces, wrap 3 grams of frankincense around the thorn, add 20 ml of alcohol and brew, fry until boiling, remove the residue and take the juice. Take it all at once. Function: clear away heat and detoxify, eliminate carbuncle and discharge pus. Mainly used to treat Bartholin's gland cyst.

There are many treatments for Bartholinitis. We can choose the appropriate treatment method according to our own situation. Therefore, we must seek timely treatment when we are sick, so as to avoid worsening of our condition due to untimely treatment. If we seek treatment at that time, it may not be so simple. Therefore, for Bartholinitis, we must seek timely treatment and control the disease in time.
