Is irregular menstruation related to genetics?

Menstrual irregularity is a common gynecological disease in women, manifested as abnormal menstrual cycle or bleeding volume, accompanied by abdominal pain and systemic symptoms before and during menstruation. Generally, menstrual irregularity is not hereditary unless there is a family history of the disease. The causes of menstrual irregularity include: emotional instability and abnormal emotions causing menstrual disorders, frequent cold stimulation causing scanty menstruation or even amenorrhea, dieting for weight loss causing menstrual irregularity, regular smoking and drinking causing menstrual disorders, irregular diet, etc.

This situation has nothing to do with genetics. Irregular menstruation may affect normal ovulation and should be treated as soon as possible. Irregularity is just a symptom. The first step in treatment is to find out the cause of the irregularity. Do six electrochemiluminescence hormone tests (preferably on the third to fifth day of menstruation) and four-dimensional color ultrasound. Remember not to take medication blindly, because menstrual regulating drugs are all hormone drugs, which not only affect all aspects of the body, but also disrupt the endocrine system if the cause is not found. If amenorrhea occurs or the endocrine results are seriously disordered, you should consider doing a pituitary stimulation test.

First of all, patients with abnormal emotions should always maintain a happy mood, improve their mood, avoid sulking or enlighten themselves in time. A comfortable body and mind is the key to treating their own diseases. Always think about good things to reduce unnecessary sadness and depression.

Secondly, avoid cold stimulation during menstruation. Frequent cold stimulation will cause the blood vessels in the pelvic cavity to contract, which can severely lead to reduced menstrual blood flow or even amenorrhea. Therefore, avoid excessive fatigue and severe cold stimulation during menstruation, prevent cold and moisture, and always pay attention to keeping warm.

Eat more vegetables and fruits to avoid constipation. Try not to drink alcohol or smoke during menstruation, because women who smoke and drink regularly are more likely to have irregular menstruation than ordinary women. Don't go on a diet to lose weight. A lot of nutrition is needed during menstruation. Due to insufficient energy intake, menstrual blood will decrease.

To avoid irregular menstruation, start with diet, reduce the intake of toxins, try to eat more warming foods, keep the body warm and healthy, maintain the nutrition needed by the body, reduce the chance of irregular menstruation, and develop good habits.
