Nursing diagnosis and measures for pelvic inflammatory disease

Nursing diagnosis and measures for pelvic inflammatory disease

Although pelvic inflammatory disease is common, it also requires good care. Normal nursing diagnosis plays a very important role in the relief and recovery of pelvic inflammatory disease. Therefore, everyone must master the correct nursing diagnosis and measures. Let's learn through the following content.

Fever patients usually sweat a lot when the fever subsides. They should keep warm and dry. After sweating, they should change clothes and avoid air conditioning or direct convection wind. Patients with pelvic inflammatory disease should pay attention to diet and nutrition. During the fever period, it is advisable to eat light and easy-to-digest food. Patients with high fever and body fluid damage can be given pear juice, apple juice, watermelon juice, etc., but they should not drink it after ice.

Pay attention to the amount, quality, color and taste of leucorrhea. If the amount of leucorrhea is large, the color is yellow and thick, and it has a foul smell, it means that the condition is serious. If the leucorrhea changes from yellow to white (or light yellow), the amount changes from large to small, and the taste tends to be normal (slightly sour), it means that the condition has improved. Do a good job of contraception and try to reduce the trauma of artificial abortion. Strictly aseptic operation must be performed during the operation to avoid the invasion of pathogens.

If you have vulvar and vaginal discomfort or abnormal vaginal discharge, you should seek medical attention in time and follow the doctor's advice. Don't be nervous or treat it as if you are facing a great enemy, but don't take it lightly or ignore it. Pain, distension, and heaviness in the lower abdomen may be a sign of chronic pelvic inflammatory disease, and necessary examinations should be carried out. Acute pelvic inflammatory disease should be treated in time and completely cured to prevent it from turning into chronic pelvic inflammatory disease.

Keep the perineum clean and dry, and wash the vulva with clean water every night. Use a dedicated basin for each person. If there is no inflammation of the vulva and vagina, avoid using various disinfectants and detergents to clean the vulva. Choose cotton and loose underwear. Tight underwear should not be worn for a long time. Keep good hygiene during menstruation, pregnancy and puerperium. After artificial abortion, placement of intrauterine device, diagnostic curettage and hysterosalpingography and other gynecological surgeries and invasive examinations, if there is vaginal bleeding, it must be prohibited. Swimming and tub bathing are prohibited.
