What are the methods to prevent cervicitis?

If you get cervicitis, it is very likely that women will feel a certain amount of pain during sexual intercourse, which will affect the quality of their sexual life. We all know that cervicitis is a common gynecological disease. According to the different symptoms of cervicitis, it can be acute or chronic. When symptoms of cervicitis appear, we must pay attention to identification. Although there are many treatments, we still need to do a good job of prevention in life. Only by taking precautions before it happens can we reduce the incidence of this disease.

Ways to prevent cervicitis:

1. Discover symptoms and identify hazards

Cervicitis is mainly chronic. Mechanical stimulation or injury, microorganisms and their toxins, chemicals, and radiation can all be the causes of cervicitis. If female friends find themselves experiencing symptoms such as increased leucorrhea, lumbar pain, a sense of pelvic heaviness, dysmenorrhea, and infertility, they should be alert.

2. Regular physical examinations and risk elimination

Cervicitis is mostly caused by childbirth, abortion, uterine surgery damage or ascending infection, usually manifested by increased secretions, yellowing, foul odor, bleeding during sexual intercourse, lumbar pain, etc. A considerable number of patients may have no symptoms or mild symptoms in the early stage, which requires regular gynecological examinations to eliminate dangers, diagnose the disease, prevent missed diagnosis and misdiagnosis, and achieve early detection, early diagnosis and early treatment.

3. Carefully care and treat the symptoms

Cervical erosion is the most common type of cervicitis, and there are many problems with improper treatment. If there are no symptoms of Grade I cervical erosion, you only need to improve your hygiene habits, such as washing the vulva with clean water every day and avoiding sexual intercourse during menstruation. If the erosion is mild, it can be treated conservatively with suppositories, or local treatments such as laser, freezing, and microwaves can be used. If the disease has a long course, moderate to severe erosion, or cervical hypertrophy or cysts, minimally invasive surgery should be considered.

4. Recognize misunderstandings and pay attention to details

In general, regular gynecological examinations (such as cervical smear examinations once a year) are performed to detect cervical inflammation early and to treat it. Sexual intercourse is strictly prohibited during menstruation and after childbirth to prevent pathogenic bacteria from entering the body. Gynecological surgery should be performed by experienced doctors, and the operation should be sterile and gentle to prevent iatrogenic infection and injury. When women find that they have mild cervical inflammation, most of them tend to buy medicine to flush themselves. However, if the flushing method is not appropriate, it is easy to cause damage to the vaginal endometrium, which not only fails to eliminate the symptoms, but makes them worse.
