How to diagnose and treat severe cervical erosion

How to diagnose and treat severe cervical erosion? Cervical erosion has become a disease that many women are concerned about. Suffering from cervical erosion is even more painful. Many reasons in life will increase the chance of suffering from cervical erosion. There are many symptoms of cervical erosion, and people should pay attention to them. Let's take a look at the following introduction.

Scientific diagnosis method of cervical erosion disease.

How to judge the degree of cervical erosion? Severe cervical erosion (third degree): refers to the cervical erosion area exceeding 2/3 of the entire cervix; moderate cervical erosion (second degree): refers to the cervical erosion area accounting for 1/3~2/3 of the entire cervix; mild cervical erosion (first degree): refers to the cervical erosion area less than 1/3 of the entire cervix.

Clinically, the degree of cervical erosion is usually determined through colposcopy. In addition, it should be noted that the type of cervical erosion should also be noted during the examination, including simple type, granular type and papillary type. Especially for patients with severe cervical erosion, in addition to determining its size, type, hardness and shape, cervical scraping, cytology and other examinations are also required to identify early cervical cancer.

The symptoms of first-degree cervical erosion are generally not obvious, and sometimes it may only be an increase in leucorrhea, which is often ignored by patients. If it reaches the second or third degree of cervical erosion, in addition to a significant increase in leucorrhea, there are often symptoms such as vulvar itching, blood in leucorrhea, and thick leucorrhea. Some patients may experience bleeding after sexual intercourse.

Treatment of cervical erosion

1. Drug treatment

For patients with smaller erosions and shallower inflammatory infiltration, medication can be used for treatment, such as topical application of 10% to 20% nitrate; topical application of potassium permanganate after menstruation, etc. It should be noted that when using the above medications, be careful to avoid burning the vaginal wall, and pay attention to disinfection when using the medication to prevent repeated infection.

2. Physical therapy

It is mainly used to treat patients with larger erosion surface and deeper inflammatory infiltration, including electric ironing, cryotherapy, laser therapy, etc. Among them, electric ironing refers to using a special electric iron to burn the erosion surface tissue, causing it to necrotize and fall off, and it needs to reach a certain depth; cryotherapy is to use a special rapid freezing device to freeze, necrotize, and fall off the cervical erosion surface diseased tissue; laser therapy refers to using a special laser treatment head to irradiate the cervical erosion tissue, causing the erosion tissue to carbonize, inflame, and fall off.

3. Surgical treatment

It is mainly used for patients who are ineffective with medication and physical therapy, those with deep or large cervical erosion, cervical hypertrophy or suspected cancer. Surgical methods include cervical cone resection or total hysterectomy, etc.

I believe that everyone has learned the scientific judgment method of cervical erosion through the above analysis. After scientific judgment, everyone can get scientific evidence of whether cervical erosion exists. Then we can scientifically choose the coping method to avoid this disease from causing more harm to our body.
